Terms and Conditions

 

Eligibility

1. Participants: Fashion designers, fashion design students, and boutique designers at a budding level are eligible to participate.

2. Student Verification: College students must be verified by their college or department.

3. Identification: A valid government ID must be submitted for all participants.

 

Submission Requirements

1. Garment Design: Each designer must design one garment only.

2. Themes and Categories: Designers must select themes and categories from the available options: Indo-Western, Indian Ethnic, and Western.

3. Target Audience: Only womenswear designs are accepted.

4. Sketch Submission: A sketch of the garment must be submitted.

5. Brand Label: Every garment must contain a brand label.

6. Sustainability: Additional scores will be awarded for garments designed using sustainable practices.

7. Design Write-Up: A detailed write-up of the garment and design process must be submitted to the jury.

8. Designer Write-Up: A brief write-up about the designer must be submitted.

 

Registration

1. Fee: The registration fee is Rs 5000/- per designer. (Two Designers Can Team Up Per Registration)

 

Support Provided

1. Model: Each designer will be provided with a professional trained model.

2. Measurements: Measurements will be provided by the organizers to the designer.

3. Make-Up and Hairstyling: These services will be provided by the organizers.

4. Fitting Session: A fitting session will be organized before the event.

5. Photoshoot with Professional Model at the backstage

6. Digital Look book with the details of the Designer will be uploaded in the website

 

Design Guidelines

1. Themes and Categories: The themes and categories available are Indo-Western, Indian Ethnic, and Western.

2. Decency: Designers are strictly prohibited from creating garments that overexpose, show skin inappropriately, or appear vulgar.

3. Prohibited Materials: No usage or carrying of drugs is allowed inside the venue. Violation will result in immediate disqualification and a ban from future editions of the Fashion Fest.

 

Judging Criteria

1. Design Creativity: Innovation and creativity in the design.

2. Sustainability: Use of sustainable practices in the garment's creation.

3. Presentation: Overall presentation of the garment, including fit and finish.

4. Adherence to Theme: How well the garment fits within the selected theme and category.

 

Code of Conduct

1. Professionalism: Designers are expected to maintain professionalism at all times.

2. No Vulgarity: No vulgar or indecent designs will be tolerated.

3. Substance Abuse: No drugs or alcohol consumption is allowed during the event.

 

Disqualification

1. Violation of Rules: Any violation of the terms and conditions will lead to immediate disqualification.

2. Conduct: Unprofessional conduct or violation of the event’s code of conduct will result in disqualification and banning from future events.

 

Additional Points

1. Intellectual Property: All designs submitted remain the intellectual property of the designer.

2. Media Release: By participating, designers consent to the use of their images and designs in promotional material by the organizers.

3. Liability: The organizers are not responsible for any loss or damage to the garments or personal belongings of the participants.

4. Changes: The organizers reserve the right to make changes to the event schedule or terms and conditions as necessary.

 

By registering for Coimbatore Fashion Fest - 2024 Season 07, participants agree to abide by all the terms and conditions outlined above.
